Fortunately, it is not too difficult to guess the correct Snifit mood in The Origami King, and players should begin by paying the 100 coins required to start a round. When that is done, fans will have three chances to pick the right Snifit mood, and it is perfectly fine to just choose randomly here. Indeed, the Snifit does not provide any hints to its mood the first time around, though it is possible for fans to get lucky with a correct guess.

That said, things change the next time through, and players that do not succeed in the first round should pay 1,000 coins to start another. When Paper Mario fans reach the third and final guess in this second round, the Snifit will let out a “heh heh,” and this is intended to prompt players to select “Snickering sniff.” Picking this option will cause the Snifit to respond with a great deal of surprise, which means that the player has won the game.

With respect to the reward that a fan will receive for guessing the right Snifit mood in The Origami King, it is not the 10,000 coins there were initially promised. Instead players will be able to access the lamp on the top of the Snifit’s tent, and rubbing it will set Luigi, who has the key to Peach’s Castle in his possession, free.

Fans can then use this key to open a previously-inaccessible area in Shroom City, and it is here where they will find The Origami King’s NSFW collectible that has been receiving some attention since the game’s release. Players will also discover an interesting mural on the wall in this area, which will allow Olivia to learn how to perform a very special ritual with the assistance of Professor Toad.

Paper Mario: The Origami King is available now exclusively for Nintendo Switch.
