Paper Mario: The Origami King will be available on July 17, 2020. Pre-order bonuses have started to pop up, but the GameStop bonus, in particular, might be one that fans gravitate towards.

GameStop is offering a pin set for Paper Mario: The Origami King, with Paper Mario and Origami Peach as the showcase of the set. The adorable duo looks right at home as pins, but fans have even found ways to make their own homemade Origami Peach.
Time will tell if additional pre-order bonuses from other retailers will compete with GameStop’s, but for now, the pin may be the winner in the cute category. With the Switch’s success and with the fact that The Oragami King may go places that Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door did not, the new Paper Mario may be the next colossal success on Nintendo’s hybrid console.
The Origami King looks like an absolutely stunning game, as depicted by the new Paper Mario screenshots. The game is incredibly detailed. Nintendo always seems to have a special way of creating its worlds around marvelous themes, such as Kirby Epic Yarn or Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds. The combination of an interesting art style with the gameplay to back it up is something of Nintendo’s specialty, and Paper Mario is an excellent franchise to expand on this principle.
The Origami King is the latest title to scratch off the list of Mario spinoffs that need to come to the Switch. As successful as the Nintendo console has been, it has surprisingly been lacking in some of the beloved series like Mario Golf or Dr. Mario. With the stunning announcement of Paper Mario: The Oragami King, and with the fact that the game is only two months away, fans may hopefully be able to look forward to more titles of this ilk in the near future.
Paper Mario: The Origami King launches on July 17, exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.
