According to Radio Canada International, Pamela and Jason Buffone filed their complaint after their 6-year-old daughter was given a lesson on gender identity that left her confused. The Buffones allege that the lesson contravened the Human Rights Code due to discrimination on the basis of sex, gender and gender identity.
